Deep Impact

Deep Impact is the impressive black gelding, which Severo rode in the seasons 2017 and 2018. He was born in 2003 and he's a Hanoverian. "Andreas (Helgstrand) bought Deep as a bithday present for his wife Marianne" remembers Severo. "But Deep and Marianne never really fitted together, luckily for me!" When Severo started to train Deep, he had again that feeling, that special connection. Very quickly they started to compete and to deliver many great results. In 2017 the highlight of the year was the European Championship in Gothenburg, were the two finished 12th. The following year they qualified for the World Equestrian Games in Tryon and finished 18th. "Deep is one of the best horses I ever rode, the extended trot gives you an unbelievable feeling." tells Severo.
